SHANNON SENIOR CARE PHYSICIAN EARNS CERTIFICATION

Brenda Owens, MD, Shannon Clinic senior care, obtained a certificate of qualification in palliative care and hospice medicine. Dr. Owens is available for patient consultation for palliation— patients who have a terminal or advanced diagnosis, but who are not ready for, or do not require, hospice care. She is qualified to assist with pain and symptom control.
Dr. Owens earned her medical degree from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in Lubbock. She completed her residency at Hendrick Medical Center in Abilene and Texas Tech Health Sciences Center Department of Family Medicine.
