Meals For The Elderly and the Sunset Mall are thrilled to let you know that all the gift wishes of homebound seniors on the Meals For The Elderly gifting tree have been adopted this year.
This is such a huge testament to the generosity of the local community. This campaign brings Christmas cheer to homebound seniors by ensuring they receive at least one Christmas gift.

Please make sure to return those gift wishes you adopted to either the Meals For The Elderly office at 310 E. Houston Harte, or to the box in front of Barbed Wire & Roses inside the south entrance of the mall before Wednesday, December 10th so all seniors can receive their gift by Christmas.

If you want to participate, you're encouraged to call 325-655-9200 or to visit the tree at the mall and grab the list of “Stocking Stuffers” that are always useful to seniors around this time of year. These gifts will be added to many of the senior’s humble requests make their gift this year unforgettable.

Meals For The Elderly clients are elderly or disabled, homebound, and unable to prepare meals for themselves, so they are limited in their mobility when it comes to preparing for the holidays and experiencing the joys of the season.

Be sure to subscribe to Meals For The Elderly’s E-News to be updated on any gifts that do not get returned to the office if you would like to help with those last-minute additions. Meals For The Elderly appreciates the community support so much and cannot say enough about the incredible generosity of those who participate in Seniors Still Believe in any way. From the volunteers wrapping these gifts and delivering them to those who purchase the gifts or donated “extras,” all of these things have made this 5th year the BEST year yet!
