Much of north Texas and southern Oklahoma experienced an incredibly dense fog on Tuesday (Dec. 9) morning, and we've got some great photos of the fog from above!

Check out these pictures of the fog as a plane descended into Dallas-Forth Worth International Airport on Tuesday morning.

The visibility was as low as a few feet in parts of the Metroplex, and the National Weather Service said most areas had visibility of less than a quarter-mile. The FAA also issued a ground stop at DFW Airport because ground visibility was only 1/8th of a mile.

The Metroplex was scheduled to be under a fog advisory until noon Tuesday.
