SAPD Blue Watch Program

The San Angelo Police Department is currently taking applications for membership to the SAPD Blue Watch Program.
SAPD Blue Watch is a program created to transform traditional Neighborhood Watch groups into online crime prevention forums using Facebook closed groups.  All interaction with police and other group members is conducted online giving citizens the opportunity to participate in neighborhood crime prevention from their own homes ­­- 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Each sector of the City has a unique Sector Blue Watch Page.  Potential members are screened to determine suitability for membership.  Applicants with certain types of criminal history, career criminals and registered sex offenders will not be permitted to join private Blue Watch groups.

Once membership has been approved, applicants will be invited to the appropriate Sector Blue Watch Group.
