Sandra Lynn ‘You Belong’ Lyric Video Showcases Adorable Nashville Students [Exclusive Premiere]
Country newcomer Sandra Lynn has a powerful message in her song 'You Belong,' and the lyric video makes that message fun.
Lynn called on Nashville's Holy Trinity Montessori (where director Trey Fanjoy's son is a student) to make the lyrics of the song really come to life -- using students' T-shirts to spell out the words. They're all dressed in brightly colored Shout! Out shirts posing, playing and just generally being adorable!
It was really important for Lynn to get the song's message across while the kids were also displaying their individuality. 'You Belong' is for you to go "somewhere beautiful" where "you belong" when things get rough.
“Velcro, kids and cameras...for such a powerful message, this was a lot of fun!” the singer says in a release. “But at the end of the day, I really hope the message to support this school and help these children continue the education they deserve is relayed."
Lynn also hopes the video can help the school raise money for a school expansion. Lynn not only used the school's actual students, but she also shot the lyric video in its halls. She says, “This is why we chose to shoot at this school and why so many people graciously donated their time and efforts to make this video happen.”
'You Belong' is the first release from Sandra Lynn's self-titled debut EP, and it was produced by Jay DeMarcus of Rascal Flatts.
