San Angelo’s Community Band Kicks Off 24th Season of Free Summertime Concerts Monday

You can wind down your Memorial Day with a free performance of The San Angelo Community Band.The band is made up of about 60 musicians, whose members have day jobs that range from doctors and lawyers to teachers and students.

The band director is David Scott, head of the Department of Art and Music at Angelo State University.

Monday's concert starts a 7:00 pm.  Everyone is welcome to join the event and did I mention it's FREE.

There will be folding chairs set up under the west pavilion of El Paseo de Santa Angela, 58 E. Avenue D, but feel free to bring your lawn chairs and refreshments.
