San Angelo’s City Cleanup Happens This Saturday

What a great time for a little spring cleaning for the entire city.  The Great American Cleanup will be from 8:00 am until 1:30 pm at the coliseum located at 50 E. 43rd Street.  All residents of San Angelo are invited to bring items to drop off at no charge.  Proof of city residency will be required.

The parking lot will be staffed by volunteers set up to collect all types of non-hazardous refuse and debris. Residents are encouraged to bring electronics, such as computers, monitors, VCRs and other similar items to this event. Please note, flammable items will not be accepted.  Things like household trash, old tires and batteries, mattresses and box springs, appliances, brush, and any other type of non-hazardous items will be collected.

There will be a $1 fee charged for each passenger car and passenger truck tire turned in.  Any tire over 19 inches will have additional fees.

Areas for the different kinds of materials will be available and volunteers will help you unload.
