Lakeview High School Band Concert:Enjoy great music at the Riverstage at 7pm. Admission is free!

4-H Day: You don't have to be in 4-H to attend. Any child in the 3rd through 8th grades in Coke, Glasscock, Sterling, and Tom Green Counties at the 4-H Building on Hwy 67. There will be learning sessions including archery, rifle, public speaking and much more from 5-7 pm.

Downtown San Angelo Movie Night: featuring Big Hero 6 in the parking lot across from the Cactus Hotel at 9 pm. Concessions are available and you're invited to bring your lawn chairs and catch the movie for free.

BE Theatre’s 2nd Annual Mustache Melodrama where you break all the rules. They are presenting Hide, Dr. Jeckyll, Hyde! at 7:30PM. Tickets are $20 for Adults, $18 for Student/Senior/Military. This includes 1 small popcorn (which you can throw at the actors) and a complimentary beer/wine beverage.

Saturday, August 2

2nd Annual Sonora Sensation is being held at the Civic Center featuring Jake Hooker and The Outsiders. Everyone is invited to come out for a chuck wagon meal, silent auction, and of course a lot of dancing to the music of Jake Hooker. SOLD OUT!

Free showing of When the Game Stands Tall at sunset at Kirby Park. Free hot dogs will be served. Families are encouraged to bring blankets, lawn chairs, coolers and snacks to the Kirby Park showing, though they are reminded that glass containers are prohibited in city parks.

The Central High School Mighty Bobcat Band will present a musical showcase beginning at 7:30 at San Angelo Stadium. Enjoy lots of fun music as the band gets ready for football
season next Friday Night!

San Angelo Cowboy Church Mutton Bustin' Explosion: is being held at the Church Arena with open competition this Sunday, August 23rd and next Sunday, Aug. 30th. Competition is limited to the first 25 riders to sign up with the top 10 qualifying for the finals on Sept. 6th. Books open at 5:30 and riding starts at 7 pm.
