San Angelo Town Hall Forum Follow Up on Avenue P Flooding

Efforts to relieve flooding along Avenue P will be the focus of a town hall forum District 3 City Councilman Harry Thomas will host next Tuesday evening.

The meeting will be at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 21, in the City Council chambers at the McNease Convention Center, 501 Rio Concho Drive. The public is invited.

The meeting will be a follow-up to a discussion Thomas led in August to discuss drainage issues along Avenue P. City officials will update the public on plans to keep stormwater from flowing into homes along the roadway. City officials attending will include City Manager Daniel Valenzuela, City Engineer Russell Pehl and Assistant City Engineer Lance Overstreet.
