The 28th San Angelo Symphony July 3rd Pops Concert will be at the Bill Aylor Sr. Memorial RiverStage located on the Concho River at 16 E. Avenue A. The gates will open at 12:00 pm; the Community Band will begin at 7:00 pm, followed by the San Angelo Symphony at 8:30 pm.

The concert features a B1 B Lancer flyover, military pageantry including the historic cannons of Fort Concho, the men and women of Goodfellow Air Force Base, symphonic songs of celebration performed by Maestro Hector Guzman and the San Angelo Symphony, and a Fireworks Extravaganza sponsored by Mayfield Paper Company. Congressman Mike Conaway and Senator Charles Perry will join the Symphony and the community for this special event honoring our country and speak prior to the concert.

The San Angelo Symphony is excited to offer a "Symphony Kids Play Zone" again this year at the July 3rd Pops concert. This new play area will be set up to the left of the stage in the grassy area and will feature face painting and balloon animals! The play area will be open from 5:15pm-8:15pm and is free to the public. Come out and enjoy!

General admission is free, but reserved seating is available ($10 - $25) by going by the San Angelo Symphony office located at 72 W. College Avenue (in City Hall) on the west mezzanine level. Please note that City Hall is closed from 12pm – 1pm Monday - Friday.
