San Angelo Police Investigating Two Robberies
Yesterday, April 26, 2016 at 8:18 pm, San Angelo Police responded to 2220 Howard Street at the Snack and Save for a report of a Robbery.
Upon arrival, Officers learned a Hispanic male, who was described as being about 5’5’’, 25 years of age, wearing a black hoodie, and having his face covered, entered the store and pointed a gun at a customer. The suspect retrieved an undisclosed amount of cash from the register and fled the store. Officers attempted to locate the suspect in the area but he was not located. There were no injuries to employees or customers of the store.
Early this morning, April 27, 2016 at approximately 5:20 am, San Angelo Police responded to 1017 Caddo at Lucky Sweepstakes for a report of a robbery. The victim reported to Officers that a black male, approximately 5’6’’-5’9’’ and weighing between 180-200 pounds, entered the business through the front door. The suspect indicated he had a gun and demanded money from the cash registers. The suspect left with an undisclosed amount of cash. The suspect was not located. The victim did not sustain any injury.
