San Angelo City Office Closures and Trash Collection Schedule

San Angelo City offices will be closed Dec. 24-26 and Jan. 1-2 for the Christmas and New Year’s holidays.Garbage will not be collected and the landfill will be closed on Christmas Day. Trash for affected residential customers will be picked up the following Monday – Dec. 29. There will be no interruption of service on New Year’s Day. Republic’s offices will be closed Dec. 25 and Jan. 1.

Among the City operations that will be closed Dec. 24-26 and Jan. 1-2: Station 618 and Santa Fe Crossing senior centers, Southside and Carl Ray Johnson recreation centers, the San Angelo-Tom Green County Health Department, the San Angelo Animal Shelter, Fairmount Cemetery’s business offices, Municipal Court, Women, Infants and Children (WIC), and the San Angelo Nature Center.

City offices reopen at 8 a.m. Monday, Dec. 29, and on Monday, Jan. 5.

Fort Concho and its visitors center will be open from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. and for self-guided tours on Christmas Eve. The fort will be closed Dec. 25-26 and Jan. 1-2. The fort will be offering all its normal hours and services on every other day through the holidays.
