Coach Wendell Davis (Head Coach of the San Angelo Bandits) confirmed today that he will be taking a position with one of three AFL teams for the 2016 season.  Coach Davis has three opportunities in the AFL but will not divulge his choice until after the AFL 2015 Season has ended in mid- August.

Coach Davis said, “ San Angelo Texas is a great community and I truly hate to leave, but in professional sports you must take every opportunity to move up.”  Coach Davis will continue to help the Bandits in their recruiting and player growth into AFL teams.

Bandits Owner Randy Sanders said, “ Coach Davis will be missed but we are proud of his opportunity to advance.  This is hard on the team but now coaches and players see the Bandits organization a place to get seen by the upper leagues.”

The Bandits are back on the hunt for a new Head Coach for the 2016 season.
Randy Sanders said “We already have some quality candidates with winning track records.”  Anyone interest in working with the Bandits can contact them through SABANDITS facebook, www.sabandits.com or at 325-942-3696.
