Sam Hunt spent his day off from Lady Antebellum’s Wheels Up tour in Chicago — with Taylor Swift. The “House Party” singer joined the country-turned-pop superstar on stage at Soldier Field, singing his hit "Take Your Time."

The pair began on an white park bench — they didn't stay there long — after Swift introduced the Georgia boy as “the coolest thing that country music has going on.” Each singer took a verse and shared the chorus, both wearing smiles as big as the football field.

Swift admits that she keeps tabs on what’s going on in country music despite officially going pop with the release of her 1989 album. Her fans showered Hunt with applause and screams, and Swift herself even gives him a big hug as they go walking across the stage together in the video. She’s shown country lots of love on the 1989 World Tour, previously bringing Little Big Town to the stage with her in Pittsburgh.

Hunt’s single “House Party” is trying to become his third straight No. 1 hit from the Montevallo album. It’s currently just outside the Top 10 on the Billboard Country Airplay chart. “Leave the Night On” was his debut single, followed by “Take Your Time.” Hunt rejoins Lady Antebellum on Thursday night in Eau Claire, Wisc., with shows through the weekend.
