The ASU-SBDC (Angelo State University Small Business Development Center) will be hosting the training event, “Sales Tax Basics: "Do I Have to Collect Sales Tax?"” this Thursday, January 8th at 11:30am at no-cost.
The event will be held at the Eden Public library located at 117 Market St. in Eden.

Topics covered will include completing tax returns, what is or isn’t taxable, your responsibilities as a taxpayer, Comptroller services and publications. There will be a question and answer session. This seminar will help the taxpayer gain the knowledge to collect and accurately report the state sales tax and to maintain required records.
