Record Price Paid for “The Scream” Painting

"The Scream" by Edvard Munch, has a new owner who shelled out $119,922,500.00 to hang it on a wall.The most ever spent on a piece of art sold at auction.

It happened at Sotheby's in New Your City.  Until then, Picasso's "Nude, Green Leaves, and Bust" held the record at $106.5 million in 2010.

By the way, the new owner wishes to remain anonymous.

I wonder why.
