Prescription Drug Take-Back Event is Saturday

The Concho Valley C.A.R.E.S. (Community Action and Resources for Empowerment and Success) Coalition, The Alcohol & Drug Abuse Council for the Concho Valley and collaborating partners will host a Prescription Drug Take-Back event this Saturday, October 18th, 2014 from 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM at The Alcohol Drug Abuse Council for the Concho Valley, located at 3553 Houston Harte Expressway in San Angelo, TX.Everyone is encouraged drop off unused or expired prescriptions or over the counter medications for proper disposal at no cost.  Illegal substances, syringes/needles, inhalers or glass containers are not accepted.

Be a part of the solution by joining the efforts to reduce prescription drug abuse and create a safe, drug-free environment for the Concho Valley youth.

In 2007, CV CARES formed with the mission of creating an environment that encourages the reduction of youth substance abuse so children and families can thrive.  Now a coalition of the Alcohol & Drug Abuse Council for the Concho Valley, a nonprofit 501(c)3, CV CARES collaborates with agencies and individuals from 12 sectors of our community.
