He's had a pretty rough time lately, but things are looking up for Clyde!

This week's Pet of the week is Clyde. According to our friends at Concho Valley PAWS, Clyde is a truly amazing dog, Clyde is one of the most affectionate boys we've met.  Clyde was left in a box outside the shelter one night last week with a heartbreaking note attached.

Clyde was seriously injured and his eye needed to be immediately removed. We are not sure what caused the injury, but he was obviously in pain, infected, and tissue damage was severe.  He's only about a year old and a very sweet Pom/Pekingese mix. Even in pain, he has been loving, affectionate, and trusting that we would help. A week later this little boy is recovering beautifully. He's all smiles and kisses.

Clyde is ready to meet people and begin the process of finding a forever home. Clyde is a cuddle bug. He wants nothing more than to be near his person, preferably in their lap. He's great with other dogs and cats. He's in a foster home with both dogs & cats. Clyde is comfortable, well behaved, and he's potty trained.
