Fort Concho’s annual Night Tours on Monday, Oct. 24, offer the opportunity to see San Angelo’s national historic landmark “in a different light.”

The tours, led by staff and volunteers, will be from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. Guides will share true stories about soldiers and civilians who died at the post. Space is limited and tickets must be purchased in advance. Tickets are available at the fort’s Visitor Center in Barracks 1 at 630 S. Oakes St. The cost is $8 for adults and $6 for seniors, military and students.

On Tuesday, Oct. 25, a new program, “Murder at Fort Concho,” begins at 7:30 p.m.  Based on the board game “Clue,” participants will help in solving a murder mystery at the fort.

The program will be from 7:30 p.m.-10:30 p.m. Participants should report to the fort’s Visitor Center at 630 S. Oakes St. to purchase tickets and receive a case file card.  Tickets are $8 for adults and $6 for seniors, military and students. Participants can purchase tickets until 9 p.m. on Oct. 25 to try and solve the mystery.
