This Friday at 10:00am representatives from Crockett National Bank will join Board Members from Habitat for Humanity of San Angelo and its’ partner family to break ground for a new home. The home will be built on Cloud Avenue. Habitat will build another home in this community before Christmas.

Crockett National Bank has partnered with Habitat seven times in the past six years assisting Habitat with their mission to build simple, decent affordable homes for families. The new homeowner will be Christina Ubando and her two children. Christina will complete the required 300 hours of “sweat equity” and several homeowner education classes before signing the closing documents on her new home around Thanksgiving.
The Texas Department of Criminal Justice San Angelo Work Camp Trusteeswill do construction during the week. On scheduled Saturdays volunteers from the funding partners, the community and Goodfellow Air Force Base will continue to build.
