ASU was ranked No. 18 in the U.S. for its online degree and certificate programs in border and homeland security and security studies. Criteria for the rankings included available online degrees, affordability, academic strength and accreditation. Data was collected from the National Center for Education Statistics, Bureau of Labor Statistics, accrediting agencies and school websites.

ASU was cited specifically for its online bachelor’s degree programs in border security and border and homeland security; online master’s degree in security studies; and online certificate programs in border security, cybersecurity and emergency management. The only other Texas school listed in the top 25 is University of the Incarnate Word at No. 20. The complete rankings are available at www.onlineu.org/best-value-colleges/law-enforcement-degrees.

Earlier this year, ASU’s online border and homeland security degree programs were also ranked among the top 10 in the nation by the OnlineColleges.net and BestColleges.com education resource guides. Additionally, ASU’s online master’s degree in criminal justice was ranked No. 3 in the nation by GoGrad.org.
