The city's website claims this is the pool's first complete renovation since it was constructed in 1938.  What a face lift!  New highlights include two water slides, a beach entry with pebble flooring, spray toys, vortex pool areas, a lap swimming area and shaded sitting areas.    The San Angelo Municipal Pool at 18 E. Avenue A, will open Memorial Day weekend, Saturday, Sunday and Monday, from noon until 8:00 pm.

According to city spokesman Ty Meighan, the pool's regular summer schedule will start June 2nd, with public swimming everyday from noon until 6:00 pm.

Admission is $5.00 for ages 3 to 64, free for 2 and younger and $3.00 for people 65 and older.  Season passes are $75.00 per person or $200.00 for a family of four and $25.00 for each additional family member.
