Make a Big Splash at the Newly Revamped San Angelo Municipal Pool Opening This Weekend
The city's website claims this is the pool's first complete renovation since it was constructed in 1938. What a face lift! New highlights include two water slides, a beach entry with pebble flooring, spray toys, vortex pool areas, a lap swimming area and shaded sitting areas. The San Angelo Municipal Pool at 18 E. Avenue A, will open Memorial Day weekend, Saturday, Sunday and Monday, from noon until 8:00 pm.
According to city spokesman Ty Meighan, the pool's regular summer schedule will start June 2nd, with public swimming everyday from noon until 6:00 pm.
Admission is $5.00 for ages 3 to 64, free for 2 and younger and $3.00 for people 65 and older. Season passes are $75.00 per person or $200.00 for a family of four and $25.00 for each additional family member.
