The public is invited to the Sugg Community Room of Stephens Central Library on Monday, August 11, at 1:30 pm for the rare opportunity to be entertained by San Angelo Symphony’s Maestro, Hector Guzman.
The Maestro will present John Lithgow’s book, “Remarkable Farkle McBride,” as he discusses music and instruments with the audience.  This is part of the Symphony’s Music in Literature Series, designed to spark imaginations and interest in both music and literature.  The Symphony website describes the program as choosing books that have a musical element that explore themes such as the importance of overcoming odds, friendship, ethnicity, values, or hard work.
