Luke Bryan's new "Move" music video is liable to give some viewers Flashdance flashbacks. Readers can press play above to watch.

The "Move" music video features Bryan and his band performing the song on a stage that appears to be set up in a warehouse-type building -- and happens to be in a room next to a makeshift dance studio. Interspersed with the shots of Bryan onstage are clips of a blond-haired dancer shakin' it to Bryan's newest single -- a 2016 version of the "Maniac" montage in Flashdance, if you will. Thanks to a particularly powerful dance move (and some video-editing magic), the two come together for the song's final chorus.

“”Move” is all the fun you could want to have in a song, in my opinion,” Bryan says. “It’s what I envision — big ol’ country dance clubs across the country playing that and it filling up and everybody having a great time.”

Bryan co-wrote “Move” with Michael Carter and Jay Clementi, and he admits that he was a tricky task: “One wrong lyric,” he confesses, “and it gets cheesy.” The country superstar actually headed into the studio without the tune fully written, but they got it wrapped up just in time.

“Move” is available for download on iTunes. Bryan will kick off his eighth annual Farm Tour on Oct. 5 in Gaston, S.C., hitting eight farms in the South and Midwest in just two weeks; the accompanying EP, Farm Tour … Here’s to the Farmer, will be released on Sept. 23.
