Local Concho Valley Events For Saturday – Barrel Races, Ballet and More

The Railway Museum will host their 3rd Annual Military Appreciation Day, from 10 am until 4 pm.  Any current or retired military personnel and their dependents are invited to tour the museum.  Call 486-2140 for more details.  Fort Concho is looking for volunteers to meet and greet visitors in several of their historic buildings.  There will be a volunteer training class at 10 am.  If you would like more information call Cory at 657-4444.

The 4-D Open Barrel Race will be at the G. Rollie White Complex in Brady, beginning at 6 pm with exhibitions.  Youth 3-D starts at 8 pm, followed by Open 4-D.  All proceeds benefit the 4-H Horse Group.  Call Pam at 456-8059 or Vance at 597-3023 for more info.

An Evening of Dance with the San Angelo Civic Ballet will be at the River Stage tonight.  Enjoy dinner and the performance for $45.00 per person starting at 7 pm, or the performance only for $10.00 at 8:30 pm.  Tickets are on sale at Blair's Western Wear, or call 653-8877 for tickets and more info.

"Hair Spray" the Musical will be at the Coliseum 2 pm and again tonight at 7:30.  Tickets for this San Angelo Broadway Academy show are $12.00 for adults, $10.00 for military personnel and children under 12.  Tickets will be available at the door, or in advance by calling 763-4807.

The Twin Mountain Tonesmen present their 33rd Annaul Show, "Murphy's Law", at the Central High School Theatre at 7:29 pm.  Tickets are $10.00 for adults, $8.00 for students and seniors.  Tickets available at Mahon's,  from any Tonesmen or by calling 947-6031.
