It’s a one stop shop for the latest news on what’s happening in San Angelo and the Concho Valley. We like to keep y’all up to date on week and weekend events that you may like to attend. Don’t be shy, check them out, there’s plenty to choose from this weekend, July 23rd through July 26th.

Thursday, July 23rd 

Every Thursday, enjoy an afternoon of art making in the San Angelo Museum of Fine Arts Education Studio. They always feature clay and watercolor, and every three weeks there are two new art projects to try between 3PM and 6PM.

Saturday, July 25th 

San Angelo Elks Lodge hosting fajita meal benefiting the family of Sgt. Korby Kennedy at 11:30 am. The meal costs $10 per person and Chief Vasquez will be one of the cooks. It's being held at the lodge which is located at 2121 South Chadbourne.

San Angelo's Animal Shelter is having a Pit Party at the shelter on Hwy 67 from 6PM - 9PM. Any dog can be adopted for just $20 and cats for $10. Enjoy live music, BBQ plates for a donation, a car show, and more.

National Cowboy Day at Fort Concho starts at 8AM with a chuckwagon breakfast, a skit with the Concho Cowboy Company, a vintage baseball demonstration, and ambulance wagon rides with mules. Tickets are $9 advance or $10 at the gate.

Creating Healthy Families Symposium is from 9AM -3PM at the St. Paul Presbyterian Church Gym. Parents of children with special needs will learn from informative speakers along with a resource fair, lunch, and door prizes. This is a free event, but registration is required.

Cactus & Crude Bike MS Tour - This year's tour takes a new route that ends at the Caprock Winery in Lubbock. Riders of all skill levels are encouraged to participate. There will be great food, fun rest stops and more while you help those who are living with MS.
