Kelsea Ballerini took home two golden Mickeys at the 2017 Radio Disney Awards on Saturday (April 29), winning two of the three categories for which she was nominated: Country Favorite Song and Country Favorite Artist. She also hosted the evening, but paused those duties to showcase a medley of her songs and join in on a tribute to the one and only Britney Spears, who was honored with the first Icon Award.

Ballerini offered a sampling of her own No. 1 hits during the show, singing “Love Me Like You Mean It,” “Peter Pan,” and “Dibs.” Showing off her fun-loving personality, she also went all-in alongside Jamie Lynn Spears, Hailee Steinfeld and Sofia Carson to honor one of the biggest pop stars of this generation, donning a red jumpsuit as an ode to Spears and “Oops! I Did It Again.”

Now, Ballerini is gearing up to release her much-anticipated sophomore album, which she says will reflect her growth since her debut, The First Time. “I have to be honest about growing up and becoming a young woman. That’s why we picked ‘Yeah Boy’ to be the last single from the first album — there’s nothing like that on this next record,” she says.

She’s currently on the road with Thomas Rhett's Home Team Tour, and she’s teaming up with Rhett again this summer to host CMA Fest.
