Keith Urban's Sept. 12 performance in Cleveland, Ohio was canceled due to a line of thunderstorms that grounded airplanes across the northeast on Thursday afternoon. The singer sent out a message to fans explaining that he was stuck in a New York City airport.

He's going to make good on his commitment, however.

Severe storms caused flooding and power outages across central New York on Wednesday and Thursday. "We've been waiting hours and hours, waiting to take off," Urban says in the video, "but they've had these planes grounded pretty much all afternoon waiting for the storms and lightning to pass by."

On Sunday (Sept. 15), Urban will take the stage at the Blossom Music Center for "An Evening With Keith Urban." The singer promises a much longer set than fans would have gotten had he made last night's show. A press release confirms that he'll be playing songs not yet performed during the Light the Fuse Tour.

Ticketholders who can't make Sunday night's performance can get a refund beginning Monday morning. Dustin Lynch and Little Big Town were still able to take the stage on Thursday night, while Urban was stuck in the airport. It's not clear if LBT will return with Urban, but Lynch has another scheduled performance.
