JPW Learning Center Barbeque Cookoff

Mejor Que Nada is hosting a Barbeque Cook-off March 23, 2013 on their parking lot at 1911 S. Bryant to benefit the JPW Learning Center.
This is a sanctioned event by the International Barbeque Cookers Association. The cost to enter is $125 for three meats, $20 per bean entry. Applications and rules are available online at www.jpwlearningcenter.org or at Schneider’s Distributing located at 1 S. Abe. Deadline to register is March 15^th.

In addition to the Barbeque Cook-off there will be a dance Friday, March 22^nd from 7-Midnight featuring J.R.Dunn and the Lost Frijoles Band and also Saturday evening March 23^rd featuring Brice Daniels and No Regrets Band. Cover for the dances will be $10.00 per night. The dance will be inside the Event Center.

All proceeds benefit the JPW Learning Center a nonprofit organization that helps students and families learn to cope with learning difficulties such as dyslexia. For more information please call 325-655-2331.
