Despite a broken engagement from Brantley Gilbert that generated quite a bit of buzz, Jana Kramer says she's enjoying the single life. And much like her new single, 'Love,' she admits she does still believe in love.

"For me, right now I'm just happy being me and doing my own thing. I'm just focused now on spreading love," Kramer tells People -- despite recent rumors that she was dating Scott Eastwood.

But the songstress is really focused on love right now (after all, it's the title of her new single). "Love for me is not just about having a relationship," the 30-year-old explains. "I'm single and actually really happy for the first time to be single. We've all been through some heartbreaks, but for me I still believe in love. I think love is about giving back and loving everyone around you -- even if it's just simple wave or a smile."

Kramer proved how deeply she believes in giving back by traveling to Honduras to film the 'Love' music video. She brought her charity, Hearts2Honduras, along -- their efforts do a lot, including bringing english tutors to Honduras. Kramer says the trip was worthwhile, and that she fell in love several times on the trip. "I fell in love with all the kids there," Kramer gushes.

"We also build homes for people who have no homes, and are bringing in a feeding program for them," she adds.

Kramer even has a little advice to help everyone fill the world with a little more love: "It's sad that there's so much hate in the world, and I don't think we focus on the love in the world enough," she says. "There really is a lot of love out there and I think if we spotlight that more, people will have more love in their lives in general."
