Jana Kramer is pregnant. The “I Got the Boy” singer and her footballer husband are expecting a baby in early 2016, and they couldn’t be more excited.

“We are beyond thrilled to be entering the path of parenthood together,” Kramer and Michael Caussin tell People. “Words can not describe how happy and blessed we feel to become parents.”

The lovers married over Memorial Day weekend in Caussin’s hometown of Charlottesville, Va. The became engaged in December 2014, and have since been seen frequently at country music industry events. This will be the first child for both the 31-year-old Kramer and 28-year-old Caussin.

“Being a mom will be the greatest job I’ll ever have,” Kramer says. “I feel like the luckiest girl alive to be on this journey with the love of my life.”

Neither have commented on social media. Kramer’s next performance is Tuesday night (Aug. 11) in Murphys, Calif. She’ll still busy well into the fall, which shows scheduled through at least early October. “I Got the Boy” is the latest single from her still untitled second album on Warner Music Nashville. She previously scored a Top 5 hit with “Why Ya Wanna” and has notched three other Top 40 hits.
