It’s A Celebration of Animals Thursday at Concho Valley PAWS

The event is in recognition of the Feast of Saint Francis of Assisi, Patron Saint of Animals and Nature.  Everyone is welcome to bring their leashed and vaccinated pets at 5:30 p.m. to Concho Valley Paws in Sunset Mall, 4001 Sunset Drive,  in San Angelo. 

Bishop Michael Pfeifer and Pastor Karen Schmeltekopf will offer a prayer and a blessing of the animals.

Adoptable pets will also be present. 

Concho Valley PAWS will recognize local animal heroes--people and businesses who have helped save or given aid to animals in need.
