Helping Hands is the re-creation of a previous project called Rebuilding Together, which was formerly known as Christmas in April.  Helping Hands is a program under the auspices of Galilee Community Development Corporation.

Helping Hands led by Program Manager Mary Herbert and a volunteer board of community representatives had a very successful first Blitz Day on October 13, 2012, and is now gearing up for its next Blitz Day in April of 2013.  Volunteer teams will be needed for our April Blitz Day, so we encourage churches, businesses, civic organization, and the military from Goodfellow AFB to begin putting their teams together.  Individuals or teams interested in volunteering can contact the Helping Hands Office at (325)227-6753 to sign up.
