Since 1933, ham radio operators have established temporary ham radio stations in public places to showcase the skill and science of amateur radio. Everyone is invited to stop by Fort Concho and learn more about ham radio. Ham radio operators are a valuable first responder source of information and communication during severe weather, emergency crisis and natural disasters.
