Trisha Yearwood's birthday was Monday (Sept. 19), so husband Garth Brooks postponed his weekly Inside Studio G video series to honor his lady instead.

"Join me in wishing a Happy Birthday to the love of my life Trisha Yearwood! Love love love YOU, g," he captions a short video on Facebook. Brooks then whispers to the camera during a minute-long clip where he surprises his better half with a birthday serenade.

"You know what this week is? It's the Queen's birthday. Monday's the Queen's birthday so no Inside Studio G," Brooks whispers to the camera, in case Yearwood could hear.

Donning a Garth Brooks World Tour cape, he then runs down the hallway like a superhero to wish his No. 1 a happy birthday in person.

"She doesn't know anything that's going on so come on in!" Brooks says before
he kneels on the ground and sings "Happy Birthday" to his lady. Then, he plants a big kiss on her lips as the two look at the camera.

"Right after this, post your happy birthday wishes to the Queen," he adds. "Of course it's a national holiday."

"It is in our house," Yearwood chimes in.

While Brooks and his family are no doubt honoring Yearwood this week, his fans have reason to celebrate too as the country icon recently revealed that he will release a collection of music via Target. The 10-CD box set titled Garth Brooks: The Ultimate Collection will be available on Nov. 11 and include Target bonus tracks, nine additional discs of music chosen from Brooks’ catalog as well as unreleased songs.

“Target has always been a friend to artists and their music. I can’t begin to describe how excited I am to be partnering with them,” Brooks says in a press release. “This holiday season is going to be amazing with a new album, plus a boxed set with never-before-released music from the vault and music you can’t hear or get anywhere else.”

Brooks and Yearwood are currently on the Garth Brooks World Tour.
