A 34-year-old San Angelo man was arrested on multiple charges following a late-night incident at a local restaurant.

Around 11:15 p.m. on Tuesday, December 6, San Angelo Police were dispatched to Denny’s located at 427 W Avenue I for the report of an unwanted subject.  Officers arrived and located the man, who employees said refused to leave the restaurant after being told to leave multiple times during two separate incidents that evening.

Officers asked the man for his name and he replied, “Jay Walker”; however, Officers learned the man’s name was Francisco Edward Arambula, who was wanted on several outstanding warrants.

Officers arrested Arambula for Failure to Identify Fugitive from Justice, his warrants and Criminal Trespass.  Arambula was also in possession of drug paraphernalia and suspected narcotics at the time of his arrest.  The substance field-tested positive for methamphetamine and Arambula was subsequently charged with Felony 3 Possession of Controlled Substance Penalty Group 1 and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Arambula was transported to the Tom Green County Jail without incident.
