Fort Concho is Looking for a Few Good Volunteers

If you have some time on your hands and would enjoy meeting others and sharing your knowledge of San Angelo's historic Fort Concho, then read on.Cory Robinson, the Visitor and Volunteer Services Coordinator at Fort Concho,  is offering a free volunteer training class this Saturday morning, May 19th.  The class begins at 10am and should take about an hour.  Cory will give you an introduction to the fort's history and explain the docent volunteer program.

When it's over you should have a working knowledge of the fort's background and be ready to meet, greet and guide visitors as they  tour the historic buildings and grounds.
