Firefighters host Truck or Treat and Other San Angelo Halloween Events

The San Angelo Fire Department and the San Angelo Fire Firefighters Association will be offering safe trick or treating on Halloween evening at all eight fire stations during the 13th annual Truck or Treat.

Families are invited to visit the fire stations from 6 p.m.-8 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 31, to partake in free candy and to explore a fire truck up close. Station locations are:

• Station 1 – 306 W. 1st St.
• Station 2 – 4702 Southland Blvd.
• Station 3 – 514 Smith Blvd.
• Station 4 – 702 E. Avenue L
• Station 5 – 3351 TLCA Way
• Station 6 – 4386 N. Chadbourne St.
• Station 7 – 3225 Executive Drive
• Station 8 – 7694 Knickerbocker Road

Visitors are reminded to please not park in front of the fire trucks and ambulances at the stations, as firefighters and paramedics must still respond to calls.

Friday, October 30th:

Trick or Treat Jamboree at Cecil A. Ross, 5301 Knickerbocker from 5:30-8:30.
Free admission with food, drinks, trick or treat booths, costume contest & more.

ASU's Porter Henderson Library will have "Trunk or Treat" from 6-8 at the parking lot west of the Junell Center from 6-8pm. Enjoy trick or treating and donations of canned goods will be accepted to benefit the Concho Valley Regional Food Bank. Call Autumn at 486-6539 for more information.

Be Theatre presents "Downtown San Angelo Ghost Walk" at 9:30, 10:30, and 11:30.
Each tour lasts approximately 90 minutes. Tour starts at 19 W. Beauregard.

Saturday, October 31st, HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

Howl-O-Ween Pet Costume Contest at the Mall beginning at 1pm. Entry fee is $10.00 per
dog to benefit Concho Valley PAWS.

Rock the Pumpkin at The First Assembly of God Church, on Edmund next to Kirby Park from 6-8:30. Enjoy live music, Carnival Minute to Win It Games, Dunk Tank, Inflatables, Sack Races, Hayrides and all the candy & free food you can eat.

Trinity Lutheran Church's "Oktoberfest" at 3516 Lutheran Way (formerly YMCA Drive).
8-3: Fall Bazaar & Bake Sale with home baked cakes, cookies, pies along with hand made Christmas Aprons, Towels, Toys, and more.
11-1: German Sausage Lunch with all the trimmings for $8.00 for adults-Children 12 & under eat free.
12:30-3: School Festivities include bounce houses, hayride, silent auction, games and prizes.
5:30-7: Free Hot Dogs & more.

Fright Fest at the Nature Center from Noon-5. Admission is $4.00 for non members and $3.00 for members. Mini Haunted House, games, free candy, scary animal feedings, roach races and more.

Glenmore Elementary Fall Festival from 4-7.

College Hills Baptist Church Fall Festival from 5-7. Free food, train ride, inflatables, cake walk and more. Everyone is welcome.

Lifepoint Baptist Church Trunk or Treat from 5:30-9:30.

Immanuel Baptist Church Fun Fest begins at 6 with food, candy, trunk or treat and games.
