The Angelo State University Multicultural Center, in collaboration with the Mexican Consulate of Del Rio, will present a photographic art exhibit of works by Areli Almonte and Monica Resa in celebration of Hispanic Heritage Week.The exhibit will be on display from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 13, at the San Angelo Museum of Fine Arts’ Coop Gallery, 427 S. Oakes St. Free transportation from Angelo State will be provided by trolley from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

On Monday, Sept. 15, the exhibit will reopen in the Multicultural Center, Room 114 of ASU’s Houston Harte University Center, 1910 Rosemont Drive. An opening reception will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 16, in the Multicultural Center and will feature additional art pieces by Esteban Apodaca of the ASU art faculty and Dr. David Tarver.

The exhibit, which includes “Personas de Mexico” by Alimonte and “The Compass Rose” by Resa, will be on display through Sept. 30 in the Multicultural Center.
