Michael Price, Nature Center director will team with City Councilman Paul Alexander to pull Emmy, the center's prairie dog, from a makeshift burrow to determine the forecast.  If Emmy sees her shadow, the Nature center will offer $6.00 off family memberships.

The event will also feature a petting zoo of Nature Center animals and door prizes to be given away every 30 minutes, among other festivities.

Admission will be waived until noon.

Call the Nature Center at 325-942-0121 for more information.
