Diabetes Focus of Next Shannon Healthbeat Live Seminar

Diabetes: Cause & Effect is the topic of the next Shannon Healthbeat Live! seminar, this Thursday, November 13 at 6 p.m. in the Shannon Women’s & Children’s Conference Room, 201 E. Harris.The seminar will offer an in-depth look at the effects of diabetes on your body and how to thrive. Rudy Haddad, MD, Shannon Interventional Cardiologist, will reveal the inside effects of diabetes on the cardiovascular system and the importance of controlling the disease to limit these effects. Beth Edington, RPh, Shannon Assistant Pharmacy Director, Pharmacy Assistance Program, will then present valuable insights into the side effects and life-saving properties of insulin and other drugs.
