The 4th Annual Daughters at the Range will be held on Saturday, June 13th, at the San Angelo Gun Club. All lovely ladies from ages 6-18 are invited to join the fun. Daughters at the Range continues to provide introductions to firearm safety, and the shooting sports resulting in the involvement of families in shooting sports. Daughters at the Range work on promoting responsibility and safety, but also 'creating smiles and building confidence', and they say,

Respect and responsibility are taught by firearm education, but even more so by example. We as firearm owners must set an example for our youth by exhibiting safe firearm practices. Daughters at the range works with young ladies for 1.5 hrs of introduction and instruction.

This seminar is an introduction to firearm safety education and shooting sports. Ladies can learn how to shoot a pistol or a rifle along with firearm safety. All firearms, ammunition, eye and ear protection is provided. Everyone who participates must be registered for one of the timed rotations choosing either pistols or rifles. San Angelo Gun Club membership and prior experience are not required.

There's room for 150 ladies, and 80 spots are already reserved. The final 70 are going fast, so you can register your spot online here. You can also call 325-224-8747 for more information. Registration ends on May 29th unless the event fills up prior to that day.
