Townsquare Media, Inc. has acquired Crude Fest LLC, the leading Texas music festival in West Texas.Founded in 2010, Crude Fest is a three-day celebration of Texas music and culture. In 2014, the festival welcomed nearly 10,000 people and featured more than 25 of the leading acts in Texas music, including the Josh Abbott Band, the Casey Donahew Band, Aaron Watson, Cody Canada and the Departed, and Roger Creager.  Crude Fest is also home to the annual Texas State Championship BBQ Cook Off.  Cody Baker, the founder of Crude Fest, will continue to lead the festival’s local operations in partnership with Townsquare.
