City of San Angelo 4th of July Schedule

Most City of San Angelo offices will be closed Thursday, July 4, in observance of Independence Day.
There will be no residential garbage collection or landfill operations on Thursday, July 4. Those residential customers will next receive service Monday, July 8. There will be no interruption of commercial service during the holiday week. Residential collection and landfill operations will resume Friday, July 5.

Fort Concho will celebrate an old Fourth of July Army tradition, firing hourly artillery salutes from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. on the Parade Ground to mark the nation’s 237^th birthday. The fort’s Visitor Center and all exhibit buildings will be open for self-guided tours from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. on the holiday. There is no charge to watch the artillery salutes and enter the Visitor Center. Regular admission rates will be in effect to see the exhibit buildings: $3 for adults, $2 for seniors and military, $1.50 for children ages 7-17, and free for kids 6 and younger. Love Municipal Pool, 18 E. Avenue A,  will be open for public swimming from noon to 6 p.m. July 4. Admission is $5 per person for ages 3-64, free for children younger than 3, and $3 for 65 and older.

Admission will be charged July 4 at Spring Creek and Middle Concho parks at Lake Nasworthy. Day passes cost $3 per vehicle for City residents and $6 for non-residents. Camping passes cost $6 per campsite for City residents, $12 for non-residents.

Southside and Carl Ray Johnson recreation centers, and Station 618 and Santa Fe Crossing senior centers will be closed July 4.

City offices will reopen at 8 a.m. Friday, July 5.
