Citizens interested in filing for a place on the May 10 ballot to fill three seats on the San Angelo City Council can pick up a candidate packet from the Office of the City Clerk in City Hall beginning Wednesday, Jan. 15.
The two-year terms for Single-Member Districts 1, 3 and 5 are up for election. A map of the City Council districts is available by accessing the “City Government” link, then the “City Council” link at cosatx.us.

The first day to file for a place on the ballot is Jan. 29; the final day to file is Feb. 28.

Candidate packets are available from the City Clerk’s office in Room 208 on the second floor of City Hall, 72 W. College Ave., from 8 a.m.-noon and from 1 p.m.-5 p.m. Mondays through Fridays.
