Christmas at Old Fort Concho Student Art Winners

Irion County seventh-grader Tatum Schwaighofer, TLCA sophomore Harrison Ragan and Wall High School senior Kyla Reid were the first-place winners of the Christmas at Old Fort Concho student art contest.

This year’s contest drew more than 300 submissions from sixth- through 12th-graders from more than 10 area schools. The following students took top honors:

• Sixth through eighth grade:

1st – Tatum Schwaighofer, 7th grade, Irion County

2nd – Eriana Sanchez, 8th grade, Glenn Middle School

3rd – Petra Neal, 6th grade, Glenn Middle School

• Ninth and 10th grade:

1st – Harrison Ragan, 10th grade, TLCA

2nd – Brooklyn Harding, 10th grade, TLCA

3rd – Llana Scott, 9th grade, Veribest

• 11th and 12th grade:

1st  – Kyla Reid, 12th grade, Wall High School

2nd – Raquel Marquez, 11th grade, TLCA

3rd – Mackenzie Weadock, 12th grade, Wall High School
