From the moment host Reba McEntire interrupted presenters Sugarland during the 2018 ACM Awards to let the world know that Chris Stapleton and wife Morgane’s twins had been born, country music fans have wondered how the little rascals have been doing.

And on Tuesday (April 17,) they got their answer, as Stapleton tweeted:

Morgane followed Tuesday afternoon with a photo of the couple's new sons, plus a note about their early arrival and NICU stay. "At more than a month early, we had a week long stay in the nicu & the incredible people there kept our boys healthy & happy. Words cannot express our gratitude for you all & what you did for our family," she says, calling out Centennial Women’s & Children’s Hospital in Nashville.

One can imagine that the last few days have been an emotional whirlwind for Stapleton and his family, both personally and professionally. Not only was Sunday (April 15) Stapleton's birthday, but it also was the day that he won ACM Awards for both Album of the Year and Male Vocalist of the Year. The recent birth of his twin boys kept the Kentucky native from being able to travel to Las Vegas to accept the award, but he was right where he needed to be.

His week got even better on Tuesday, as he received the news that he is nominated for five Billboard Music Awards, including Top Billboard 200 Artist, Top Selling Album, Top Country Album, Top Country Artist and Top Country Male Artist. The 2018 Billboard Music Awards will air live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on May 20 and will be broadcast live on NBC for the first time.
