Maverick McIvor is starting to spoil us.  Another five touchdown passes, three to Henry Teeter, and the Bobcats made quick work of Midland Lee 52-28.

Now it's off to Frenship for Friday night's game.

The Tigers are in unfamiliar territory this season as they are winless after seven games.  I've been following Tiger football since the fall of 2001 and I cannot remember a winless Frenship football team.  Not only are the Tigers 0-7, they've been blown out in six of those games.

The BIG game is next week against Permian but Central isn't looking past the Tigers.

The Wall Hawks dismantled Grape Creek 78-0 this past weekend.  Wall keeps impressing and the scariest part is they seem to get even better each week.  They host Crane Friday night.

Undefeated Sonora enjoyed a week off.  They travel to Alpine this Friday night to tackle the Bucks in what likely will be the first real test for the Broncos.

In other games:

Lake View was down 49-0 by halftime before dropping their district opener to Lubbock Coronado 63-6 in Lubbock..

Miles beat Bronte, Christoval shut out Eldorado, Reagan County beat Ballinger, TLCA lost to Alpine, Irion County lost to Wink and Water Valley lost to Rankin.
