CASA needs volunteers to help kids!
When a child is removed from their home because of abuse or neglect, a judge may appoint a committed volunteer called a CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate). The volunteer's focus is on the child, advocating and giving hope and help in guiding them to a safe and permanent home. A CASA is the voice for the child and helps them navigate through the judicial system. Judges truly value the observations and recommendations of CASA volunteers, knowing they have the child's best interest at heart. Often times, a CASA is the one constant in the child's life.

There are not enough volunteers for every child that needs one. Click on this link cactomgreen.org or call 325-653-HOPE to learn how you can become a CASA Volunteer!

The next CASA Volunteer Training will begin on July 14th.
