Carrie Underwood Wraps Spring Leg of ‘Storyteller’ Tour
Carrie Underwood wrapped the largest tour of her career this Memorial Day weekend, playing to over 600,000 fans since the launch of the Storyteller Tour at the end of January.
She turned to social media Tuesday morning (May 31) to commemorate the event. Underwood posted a montage of video highlights from the trek and shared her enthusiasm for the second leg of the tour, which kicks off this fall.
The Swon Brothers, who opened for Underwood on the tour, showed their gratitude to the "Church Bells" singer on the last show of the tour on Monday (May 30). They surprised her onstage with a beautiful arrangement of flowers to show their appreciation for the past four months of open arms, fun and music.
"Tonight was our last show on the Storyteller tour until September. Thank you Carrie Underwood for letting us be a part of such an amazing platform," they captioned the candid photo on Instagram. "Everyone in your crew to your dedicated fans have welcomed us with open arms. That is just a reflection of your heart and we've known it for years. We will see all of you in September!"
Underwood will spend her summer playing sporadic festival and fair dates before the fall leg of the Storyteller tour kicks off in September. That run of shows will continue through the end of November, which will be followed by her jumping on a plane with Keith Urban headed Down Under, where she will join his Ripcord Tour for the Australian dates.
